* SB 333 Sponsor:Trent, Curtis Status: S Commerce, Consumer, Energy & Env. Description: Provide an exemption to a voter-approved ban in 1976 that prohibits an electric utility from including in its rates the cost of construction that has not yet generated power to customers -- essentially prohibiting passing on to customers costs of "construction work in progress." The ban was approved in response to efforts to charge for costs of the Callway County nuclear power plant while it was still being constructed.
