HB 1193 Sponsor:Shaul, Dan Status: IN HCS HB 1194 Description: Nullify any minimum wage requirement adopted by a local covered prior to August 28, 2015. Effectively would stop St. Louis minimum wage ordinance that was upheld by the Mo. Supreme Court Feb. 28, 2017. Current law, passed in 2015, prohibits cities from imposing a minimum wage higher than state or federal law, but exempted cities that already had passed a minimum wage.
