The House overwhelming supported a provision that could allow a judge to order chemical castration; a drug which discourages sexual offenders from repeat offenses.

Bill sponsor Craig Hosmer supports chemical castration but questions whether it should be tacked onto his bill.

Actuality: Craig Hosmer
RunTime:
OutCue: "....I support it."
Contents: I just think it is probably something that is questionable as it relates to this bill, but I think as far as the idea, the legislation I support it.

The bill now goes to the Senate with only eight days left for final passage.

Reporting from the State Capitol, I'm Rod Petersen.
