Monarch btterflies sweep across St. Louis

Monarch butterflies are on their way to Mexico...but they're sweeping across Saint Louis first. Beejal Patel has the story from Jefferson City.

Don't be suprised to encounter butterflies scattered across the skies the next time you're driving down the St. Louis highways.

Two weeks into their annual migration, scores of monarch butterflies are flying over Saint Louis suburbs such as Chesterfield and Webster Groves.

Motorists along Saint Louis highways can expect a beautiful distraction.

That's according to Saint Louis zoo entemologist Jane Stevens.
