While at the helm of Missouri's Health Department, Dr. Coleen Kivlahan reigned over several statistical successes.

Governor Carnahan's office reports that state immunization rates are up by thirty percent and the infant death rate is at a 15-year low.

Tuesday, Kivlahan announced her resignation.

Spokesperson Nancy Gonder says Kivlahan calls her hundred-hour-a-week job as director -- the greatest of her career.
