The Campaign to Reward Work says the language the state plans to put on the ballot is biased and will discourage voters.

According to the official ballot title if passed the increase in minimum wage would cost Missouri 100-million dollars a year.

It also says it will cost local governments a million dollars a year.

But spokesman for the intiative Benjamin Israel says that's not true.

Contents: Israel says there is no evidence that there's going to be job loss as the state maintains.

The suit was filed in the Cole County Circuit Court.

There has been no word on when a decision will be made.
