    Description: Extend the sunset to 2015 of the "federal reimbursement allowance." It's a tax the state imposes on health facilities to use to match with federal Medicaid funds. The state tax money then is returned to health facilities. An amendment to the HCS gives the Revenue Department power to collect debts owed to various state agencies and power to contract with private debt-collection agencies.

The House did not take the bill up.
