Senate approval gets .08 closer to reality

Missouri's Senate passed the House version of .08 with next to no resistance today/Wednesday. Aaron Cummins has more--

Only one Senator voted against the plan to lower the legal blood alcohol limit for drivers to .08.

Southwest Missouri Senator Morris Westfall handled the drunk driving bill.

He says he's feeling good about .08's chances.

Westfall says he expects the House to approve of most of the changes made to the bill in the Senate.

That would clear the way for .08 to be signed into law by the governor.

The biggest contention is an amendment that changes which judges review DWI cases... that proposal is likely to be cut to get House support.
