Laclede Gas wants rate increase

Laclede gas will lobby for a rate hike when it comes before the Public Service Commission tomorrow/this morning in Jefferson City. Aaron Cummins has the story--

In their filing with the PSC, the gas company says it's paying more for wholesale gas than it's charging customers for the same gas.

Kelly says the Commission hasn't figured out how much more that will cost an average customer.

On Tuesday, Governor Bob Holden asked for an investigation into rising gas prices after the PSC approved a 44-percent price hike for western Missouri gas customers.
