Missourians should be careful this Holiday Season when bringing Christmas trees into their homes.
Curt Holden reports from Jefferson City.
Last week's warm weather means that insects have been more active this Fall and are going into their wintering mode later this year.
Missouri Department of Conservation Forest Pathologist Susan Burks says one type of insect may still be on peoples' Christmas trees.
Burks says boxelder bugs and lady beetles may also be swarming more this fall and winter due to the recent warmth.
Reporting from Jefferson City, I'm Curt Holden.
