Gun Campaign Already Started

Eight months before the issue will be on a ballot, Missouri gun advocates are campaigning to allow Missourians to carry concealed weapons.

Reporter Curt Holden has the story from Jefferson City.

They've even got a Right-To-Carry bumper sticker produced -- eight months before the vote.

Southeast Missouri Representative Wayne Crump sponsored the concealed weapons bill that will be on next year's April 6 ballot.

Crump says efforts to pass the bill will intensify nearer the bill voting date.

Crump says he expects the National Rifle Association to contribute about two million dollars during the last two weeks of the campaign.
