Missouri's governor is offering a compromise to avoid an attempt to overrride his veto of a partial-birth abortion bill. Tristin Yeager reports from the state capital.

The governor's chief spokesman, Chris Sifford, says if a general concensus can be reached outside of chambers, the governor would be willing to add abortion to next week's special legislative session.

Among those urging a solution is the House Majority Leader. Gracia Backer says without a concensus, the issue will remain a legislative headache.

But, so far, the legislative sponsor has rejected the governor's compromise proposal -- saying it's not tough enough in banning partial-birth abortions.
