Billions in insurance claims may await Holocaust victims

Missouri holocaust survivors, their families, and heirs may now be able to collect billions of dollars in old insurance claims. Rebecca Sapakie has the story in Jefferson City.

About 300 Holocaust survivors reside in the St.Louis area.

The state Insurance Department is working to get european insurance companies to release all holocaust victims' unclaimed money.

Angoff will attend a meeting in Washington D.C. on Monday to discuss the issue further with insurance directors from around the country. He said all of them want to do whatever they can under the law.
