On the first day possible for filing bills, St. Louis county representative Joe Treadway will be one of several representatives to file legislation banning partial birth abortions.

During the special session this fall, the Senate missed over-riding a governor's veto of the ban by only one vote.

Treadway supported the over-ride attempt.
