Legislators Urge Course in Flag Etiquette

A Senate election committee was urged to pass a house bill that would make it mandatory for Missouri youth to know the pledge of allegiance. Sarah Coleman has the story from Jefferson City.

The bill would require schools to teach students about the American flag and what it represents.

House bill sponsor, Bill Boucher of Kansas City says that many Missouri students do not know the meaning of our country's flag or the pledge of allegiance.
