New Pro-Life Legislation in Missouri House

A form of pro-life legislation is making it's way through the Missouri Legislature...Rebecca Rausch has the story from the State Capitol.

The bill, passed out of committee, will take away the parental rights of a convicted rapist, eliminating the chance for visitation or custody.

Bill sponsor Representative Cindy Ostman says the bill will protect women and their children from rapists.

Contents: "I consider this kind of a pro-life bill frankly, because I don't know how many women under the circumstances would be anxious to carry a baby to term if they knew they might be faced with a long term relationship with such a person."
