Art brings St. Louis Youth to Capitol

An art award brought St. Louis youth to the State Capitol on Tuesday. Sarah Coleman has more from Jefferson City.

Washington University professor, Bob Hansman, received an award from the Missouri Arts Council for his work with St. Louis inner city youth.

Hansman helped direct inner city kids who lost a close friend to sickle cell anemia to focus their sorrows through art.

Program participant, Reggie Love, says Hansman is an inspiration.
