Missouri's Senate President Pro Tem says he believes a bill he sponsored to increase gambling limits on river boat casinos is dead.

Allison Girvin has the story from Jefferson City.

Senator McKenna's bill came to committee after hours of testimony that began last week.

The committee heard a stream of opposition on the measure to increase the 500 dollar gambling limit currently in place on casino boats.

Among those opposing were ex gambling addicts and various political and city organizations.

McKenna says because of this opposition, he thinks his bill will not pass.
